THE team at St Giles Kennels are appealing for help after they rescued 18 ex-puppy farm dogs.
The centre in Wrantage took in the pups on June 8 and residents can donate to help them.
Sharon Buck, of the kennels, said: "The ages of the dogs and puppies range from eight months to eight years.
"We will never know what happened to them but all we can do is make sure they now get the life they all deserve.
"There are a mixture of breeds including Beagles, Bichons, Shitzus and miniature Schnauzers.
"They are all going to need veterinary treatment including neutering, micro chipping and vaccinations, not to mention treatment for some of the old injuries they arrived with.
"We are asking for financial donations."
