GOT any old cosy jumpers or woolly scarves that you don't want or need anymore?

If so - Barnardo's is the place to go.

The children's charity stores are looking for 'winter woollies' to help raise money for vulnerable youngsters.

Stock of coats, jumpers and scarves are selling fast as the weather turns colder so the stores are looking to replenish their stock of adult and children's items.

Barnardo’s area business manager Rob Scott said: “We really need people to look inside their wardrobes and dig out any good-quality coats, jumpers and winter warmers that they haven’t worn for a while. This includes boots, gloves, hats and other items.

“We’d also welcome any accessories, toys, books and bric-a-brac to restock our shelves.

“Not only does the money raised help to fund our work with disadvantaged and vulnerable children, but our stores also give local families the opportunity to buy clothes and presents for Christmas at an affordable price.”

Donations can be taken to the Barnardo’s stores in Bridgwater, Chard, Norton Fitzwarren, Taunton, Weston-super-Mare and Yeovil.
