ENGLAND cricket star Ben Stokes is in Somerset ahead of his wedding tomorrow (Saturday).
It is the first time he has returned to the South West after he was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm in a brawl outside a Bristol nightclub last month.
He is currently under investigation and will not fly to Australia with his team mates ahead of England's Ashes series.
He is walking down the aisle at a church near Weston-super-Mare tomorrow to marry his fiancee Clare Ratcliffe.
The couple, who are throwing a lavish reception in a nearby luxury hotel, have two children.
Stokes was photographed arriving in the area by SWNS picture man David Hedges in ripped jeans, a backwards cap and green hoodie.
He was arrested last month following a fight after a number of England cricketers went out to celebrate a one-day victory over the West Indies in Bristol.
Stokes's agent, Neil Fairbrother, said this week that the all rounder would give his version of events at a later date.
In a statement, Mr Fairbrother said: "Ben will make public his full explanation and evidence when the time is right.
"That is not possible while the investigation continues and no charges have been brought. Ben does not wish to prejudice the process.
"He is also concerned about the impact the widespread publicity has on everyone involved including the ECB, his team-mates and the game of cricket itself, which he loves."
