IT will be a dry and sunny day in Somerset today (May 21).
The sun is set to start shining straight away at 7am but there is a chance showers and thunder will hit the county this afternoon.
Temperatures will reach a high of 23 degrees before falling to 8 degrees overnight.
Medium pollen levels and high UV will be experienced throughout the day.
In the South West summary, the Met Office, said: "Any mist or fog will quickly clear this morning to leave plenty of sunshine.
"Patchy cloud will bubble up in the afternoon with scattered showers and warm sunny spells.
"Some showers could be heavy and thundery, mainly in the east."
