MRS Betty Bishop of Highbridge, died at Weston General Hospital on August 6, aged 89. The funeral on August 19 at St Johns Church, Highbridge followed by interment at Highbridge cemetery alongside her late husband Walt Bishop who predeceased her in 1995, was conducted by Revd Christine Judson.

ROY Anthony of Burnham-on-Sea, died on April 4, at Weston Hospital, aged 67 years. The funeral service at St. Andrew’s Church, Burnham-on-Sea followed by Cremation on April 15, was officiated by Reverend G. Witts.

Bessie Cromey of East Huntspill, died at Weston General Hospital, on January 14. She was 92. The funeral on January 25, at All Saints Church, East Huntspill, followed by interment in the churchyard alongside her late husband Eric Cromey who predeceased her in 1975, was conducted by Mr David Holley, Mrs Sue Elsworth played the organ.

Phyllis Evelyn Hampson

Phyllis Evelyn Hampson of West Huntspill died on March 8 at Burnham Hospital. She was 84. The funeral on March 18, at Saint Peter & All Hallows Church, West Huntspill, followed by interment in the churchyard along side her late husband Ray, was conducted by the Revd Geoff Walsh.

PHILIP David Coates of East Huntspill died at Weston General Hospital on February 14. He was 56. The funeral on February 25 at All Saints Church, East Huntspill, followed by interment in the churchyard was conducted by Rev Geoff Walsh, Sue Elsworth played the organ, Mr Steven and Robert Wall acted as Pall Bearers.
