Burnham Under 13s 43, North Dorset 0

THE team tested themselves against opposition outside of their normal playing region and ran out comfortable winners.

In an entertaining match Burnham's tactics, technique and pure physical strength proved decisive despite spirited opposition.

Matt in his first game for the club had an encouraging debut in the forwards and Luke in only his second game scored a superb individual try which will do wonders for his confidence. Other tries were scored by the Elrick twins, five between them, and Manu who also successfully kicked three conversions with Lawrence adding the other conversion.

Man of the match was Tony on the wing who not only had several jinking runs but tackled furiously and without fear in defence. Well done Tony your best game to date.

The team face Gordano on Sunday.
