SOMERSET Rebels have selected Jason Doyle and Josh Grajczonek as their representatives for the Premier League Pairs Championship which is being held at the Oaktree Arena on Friday May 31, the duo virtually picking themselves following the recent unfortunate collar-bone injury suffered by Nick Morris.

With the ten competing clubs needing to name two out of their top three riders as their duo for the championship, Somerset's selection task was made a relatively straightforward affair by virtue of the fact that Nick Morris is currently side-lined with that broken collar-bone, which Rebels team manager Garry May explained saved him having to make what would have been a difficult decision had Morris been fit.

Also in Somerset's group are Glasgow, Ipswich, Scunthorpe and Berwick.

The Premier League Pairs Championship brings together the top two riders from ten of the 13 clubs that comprise speedway's Premier League.

n SOMERSET Rebels were forced to postponed Friday night's Premier League match at the Oaktree Arena against the Sheffield Tigers due to a waterlogged track.

It will now be staged tomorrow (Friday) at the Oaktree Arena.
