Puriton boxer Leanne Thomas too strong
BOXER Leanne Thomas from Berrow who trains at Puriton Amateur Boxing Club travelled to Yate leisure centre on the for her second contest against Ellie Jones from South Wales.
Coach Michelle Garland said Leanne put on an excellent display of boxing showing her skill with excellent footwork and accurate scoring clean shots, although it was clear before the contest started Leanne was going to be too much for her opponent.
Leanne won the contest on a unanimous points decision.
