Berrow thrash Keynsham to set-up Westlands showdown

BERROW comfortably made it through to the next round with a good performance on the 3G pitch at Keynsham.
After 10 minutes of getting used to the surface, Berrow began to domintate a young home side and went close when Kilduff followed up a blocked Ross McErlain shot, but his effort clipped the outside of the post.
They did take the lead when the keeper failed to hold a Scott Lismore drive and Dave Keirle was on hand to score.
Ross McErlain then played Jack Taylor through twice, but on both occasions the keeper made good blocks.
Hartnup then played Keirle in - and after turning past a defender and the keeper he slotted the ball in.
Keynsham were still a threat on the break and Nick Slack made a great save tipping the ball over the bar when it looked like a certain goal.
Berrow made it three when Luke McErlain found Taylor and he made no mistake when one on one with the keeper.
Keynsham started the second half well and were pushing to get back into the game, but Slack was on top form making another great save.
With 25 mins to go, Dax Vincent and Ellis Harper replaced Kilduff and Keirle.
It It was soon four as Taylor was brought down outside the box and Ross McErlain found the top corner with the free kick.
Berrow dominated the final 15 mins and were rewarded with two identical goals.
First Harper broke down the right onto yet another defence splitting pass from Luke McErlain and crossed perfectly for Taylor to fire home from six yards.
Then Taylor repeated the favour for Vincent to score from the same spot.
Hartnup went close with two efforts from 25 yards and Taylor hit the post as Berrow cruised into the next round a tough home draw again Yeovil based Westland Sports.
