ROUND four of the Shiplate Winter Series was battled out on the Hawthorns and Westpool, in calm weather conditions after a cool night, making the fish picky feeders. Silvers were really beginning to show as the Carp numbers begin to lessen this time of year.
Tim Lewis won the match with a good lead by fishing13m in left and right margins using sweetcorn bait and feeding pellet.
