MARTYN Boley was the match-winner for Wedmore in Division Three of the Somerset Cricket League as he starred with bat and ball to guide his side to a one-wicket victory over Long Sutton.
Boley took 4-38 to help dismiss Long Sutton for 167, before striking an unbeaten 75 to carry Wedmore past the finish line.
J Burgess (26 & 3-41) also impressed for Wedmore who record their first win of the season.
Elsewhere in Division Three, Huntspill & District crashed to a heavy six-wicket defeat at east Coker.
Batting first, Huntspill were all out for just 86, despite 47no from C organ - in reply, East Coker cruised to their target for the loss of just four wickets.
East Huntspill suffered a similar fate in Division Five, as they were all out for 103 against Banwell & Churchill.
A Chedzey top scored with 28, but East were a long way short of a competitive total and Banwell reached it for the loss of just two wickets.
Wedmore A claimed their first win of the season in Division Nine NW with a 71-run triumph against Lympsham II.
C Curtin (55) and L Patch (35) top scored as Wedmore A posted 172-7, before bowling Lympsham out for 101, courtesy of 3-38 from E Curtin.
Elsewhere in the division, Huntspill & District II were thrashed by Sparkford, who amassed 245-3 batting first.
In reply, Huntspill were skittled for just 66.
In Nine SE, Wedmore II fell to 45-run defeat to Crewkerne II, despite 53 from M Lee.
Chasing 192 to win, Wedmore were dismissed for 146 - R Gamlin also added 34.
