Huntspill & District 147-6 beat North Perrott II 146-8
CRAIG Slack guided Huntspill & District to a four-wicket victory over North Perrott II on Saturday.
Slack struck an unbeaten 74 as Huntspill chased down 147 in 41 overs - C Nayagam added 29 in the middle order, but it was Slack who was the mainstay of the innings.
Earlier, D Counsell (3-30) and Jake Randall (3-17) had taken three wickets apiece to help restrict Perrott to a below par score batting first.
C Organ (1-51) and M Crawford (1-17) also chipped in with a wicket apiece.
Perrott's L Szczepanski did his best to snatch the win for his side with impressive figures of 5-39, to follow up 27 not out with the bat - but Huntspill were always in control and secured a comfortable win.
