BRIDGWATER Sports Reserves beat local rivals Bridgwater Wolves 2-0 in the Seward Cup with goals from Scott Clapp and Paul Goss, while Tone Youth Reserves beat Woolavington 4-3 in thrilling encounter.

In Division 1, Middlezoy Rovers Reserves consolidated their second place with a 2-1 victory over Bishops Lydeard, for whom Rob Poole scored.

It was a tight throughout between Tone Youth and Bridgwater Sports, who shared the points in a 2-2 draw.

Keir Meaker and Mark Blight netted for Tone with the latter scoring a 30- yard wonder strike, while Matt Fursland and a penalty kick replied for Sports.

Porlock’s game with North Petherton was abandoned due to the lack of an official referee.

In Division 2, The Gallery had a 5-2 win over Milverton, for whom Craig Plumridge scored both.

On target for The Gallery were Jason McPheat with a brace, Connor Watts and Mark Pope with one each, and the fifth courtesy of Milverton.

Division 3 leaders Sydenham Rangers maintained their 100% record with a convincing 6-2 win over Galmington Dragons thanks to two goals from Martyn Milton, one each from Chris Gillard, Jason Stephenson and Cameron Wilkinson, and an own goal, while Chris Tucker got both Dragons’ goals.

Clinton Kneeshaw grabbed himself a hat-trick before half-time for Exmoor Rangers against Redgate.

Jimmy Baker scored two in the second half and Kneeshaw grabbed a fourth late on to make it 6-0.

In Division 4, second-placed Ash Rangers beat North Petherton Reserves 1- 0 with Callum Hardy scoring.

Staplegrove Colts beat Middlezoy Athletic 5-1 with strikes from both ends of the age spectrum – Ian Bishop hit a hat-trick with youngsters Jake Quick and Kurtis Selway adding one each, and Daniel Russell replied for Middlezoy.

Williton had a good 3-0 away win at Bridgwater Grasshoppers, completing a season double over their opponents with veteran striker Matt Werbitzky bagging a first half hat-trick.

In Division 5, Cameron Robilliard stole the show for The Gallery Reserves in a 4-2 victory against Nether Stowey Reserves with a second half hat-trick, including a slip over penalty and a rasping strike from outside the box.

Bridgwater Sports Colts beat Bishops Lydeard Colts 4-1, Gary Howes, Craig Savage, Matt Parker and Alex Turner scoring the goals, with Joel Durkin replying for Lydeard.

Morganians Reserves had a 3-2 away win at East Bower thanks to Andrew James, Mark Galeitzke and Ben Nash – Jack Edwards scored both Bower goals.
