HAWKRIDGE

Fish caught 152 Rod average 2.3 Hawkridge is still fishing well with plenty of fish being caught all over the lake, however fishing the shallows from boats is highly recommended. Anglers who fish floating or intermediate lines with Blue Flash Damsel, Daddy's or Fry Patterns return with good catches.

Peter Harvey caught the first ever Arctic Char weighing 3lb 10oz. Nigel White had the first ever bag limit of Char weighing 19lb 10oz, and also Tony Nickolds had four Char in a bag limit totalling 19lb 4oz, which included a 6lb 1oz Rainbow. Mr P Southey had the largest fish of the week weighing 9lb 8oz and R Burt caught a cracking 7lb 10oz Rainbow.

This is the last week of the 2014 season, so why not try and catch something different, call 01278 671840 for more details.

Hawkridge closes on Sunday 19th October.
