FOUR teams head the Burnham, Highbridge & District Ladies’ Skittles League’s Premier Division with maximum points from two games.

Hotshots had a sizeable victory over Crown Jewels at Bristol Bridge with Lyn Galley hitting 63, promoted Lightbulbs demolished Maybee’s at the Lighthouse Inn and Nitwits saw off Blinders at the George Hotel.

Pin Ups made the most of their chances and beat Eight Belles who were playing with a Sergeant Major. Still to make their mark are Bristols, Crown Jewels, Eight Belles and Maybee’s.

Wayward Wanderers lead Division 1, playing for the first time on their new alley at Laburnum House they saw off Cannonballs by 13. Berrow Club beat Nightmares by seven and Victoria Vixens took the match from Tri-ards by just three pins. Wotsits failed to make a team and gave the points to Berrow Breezers.

Burnham United had the highest score of any of the games played this week, hitting 447.

Vicky Cattell top scored with 73 and three more players were in the 60s to make short work of Red Devils.

At the Orchard Inn, Applecatchers emerged victors by five helped by Julie Popham’s 60, Coasters went down by 23 at the 37 Club to Old Railway and Wanderer’s game against Bombers was postponed
