SHANE Jolley scored the winner for North Petherton as they battled to a 2-1 victory over Bishops Lydeard in Division One.

Pethy started well with a 30 yard free-kick from Lewis Irish opening the scoring.

Lydeard hit back through Adam Watson to go in 1-1 at half-time.

But Jolly knocked in the winner for Pethy after great play from Scott Harman for a 2-1 result. Jack Warren scored twice for Middlezoy Reserves as they held on for a 3-2 win at Staplegrove Reserves- James Hatch scored the other for ‘Zoy to secure three points.

Division Two leaders Alcombe Rovers recorded their eleventh victory of the season with a 2-1 win over Westonzoyland – and Wembdon beat Stogursey 1-0 thanks to a goal from Tim Richards, who was on hand to chip the Stogursey keeper from just outside the box.

Bridgwater Sports Reserves had a convincing 7-2 home win over Alcombe Rovers Reserves in Division Three - both Brendan Pope and George Turner hit hat-tricks with John Wilde adding the seventh.

Woolavington dominated the early stages of their match against Exmoor Rangers and quickly went 2-0 ahead through Josh Corkett and Joe Jasinski. In the second half Dan Rice had a great chance to get one back for Rangers from five yards but he somehow managed to blaze it over.

In Division Four, North Petherton Reserves were beaten 3-1 by Creech Cougars - two goals from Ashley Grist and one from Aaron Sellick gave Creech a 3-1 victory.

Staplegrove Colts dropped down to third after a 3-3 draw with Middlezoy Rovers Athletic. On target for Colts were Ian Bishop, Rob Sutton and Jason Quick, replying for Athletic were Regan Blake, Martin Innalls and Rhys Maynard.

Bridgwater Grasshoppers won the game against Porlock Reserves by the odd goal in seven - scored in the last minute of the game by Dan Saunders. In Division Five, Bridgwater Sports Colts took the lead early in the first half with a Callum James goal against leaders and local rivals The Gallery Reserves.

Gallery got an equaliser through a Jake Croker tap in after a corner.

The game stayed pretty cagey until the last ten minutes when Cameron Robbilliard won and converted a penalty for Gallery and a sensational solo effort from super sub Jake Shoemark made sure Gallery took all three points.

Hamilton Athletic Foxes had a good 5-3 win over Morganians Reserves - Kieran Shevlin scored three and Dan Bidgway with two, one of which was a lovely cross from 20 yards which flukily went in off the post. Daniel Frost scored two for Morganians and George Weston added the third.
