TIGER Old Boys needed extra-time to beat Huntspill Crowns 3-2 in the Dave Hobbs Cup on Sunday morning.

Ian Bellinger’s double fired Tiger to victory, while Jake Adey was also on target.

Elsewhere in the competition, Red Road Rangers were 5-4 winners in a goalfest against Cornhill.

Cameron Wilkinson (2), Jack Winter and James O’Brien were on target for Cornhill, but it wasn’t enough for the visitors.

The game between New Foresters and Rhode Lane Wanderers was abandoned – but, in the John Morrell Division 2 Cup, Ramblers and Flag Old Boys played out a 1-1 draw.

In league action, Highburn Athletic cruised to a 7-0 win at home to Division 1’s bottom club Blake Old Boys – and, in Division 2, Knowle Dynamos beat Puriton 3-2, thanks to a brace from Pete Boot.

In the only game in Division 3, Spenny’s Sports Bar drew 1-1 with Stogursey Rangers.
