Tribute Western Counties North
Barton Hill 24, Burnham 5
BURNHAM were hit by a flurry of first-half tries as they slipped to defeat at Barton Hill on Saturday.
Having secured two wins a draw from their previous three games, Burnham were unable to extend their run, with their Bristol-based opponents proving too strong on the day.
Barton Hill are up to ninth with the home success, blowing away the visitors with first-half tries from Joe Sansum (2), Ben Elliott and Scott Chapple.
Burnham host fourth-place Bristol Harlequins on Saturday, before travelling to Bristol Saracens a fortnight later.
They have now slipped 11th in Western Counties North, just one point above the drop zone.
