WEDMORE Reserves booked their place in the last four of the Davis Shield with a comprehensive 6-2 victory at Portishead Town B on Saturday.
Hutton Reserves were another to reach the semi-finals, winning 4-0 at South Park Rangers Reserves.
Burnham United A have sunk further into trouble in Division Two following a 4-0 defeat at fifth-place Axbridge Town – they remain rock bottom of the table, eight points adrift of second from bottom Nailsea United B.
United are in cup action this weekend as they take on the same opposition in the quarter finals of the Charity Cup – while Wedmore host Wrington Redhill Reserves in the last eight of the Challenge Cup.
Wedmore Reserves travel to Axbridge Town Reserves in the quarter finals of the Keyes Cup, while in Division One, Berrow travel to Weston Super Seagulls, looking for a win to drag them away from the relegation mire.
