WITH one match left this season in the Burnham, Highbridge & District Ladies Skittle League, the Victoria Vixens took the Division 1 title after beating Tri-ards at Pawlett Pavilion.

Cannonballs moved up the table to overtake Wayward Wanderers after beating them by 32, so both teams have all to play for in the final week.

Wotsits and Tri-ards are on ten points, and Berrow Club B are on 11, so the two demoted places will come from two of these teams.

Lightbulbs kept their top billing after beating Maybee’s by nine and runner-up placed Nitwits took the points from Blinders by ten.

Hotshots were gifted the points after Crown Jewels failed to make a team and are now equal third with Maybee’s.

Bristols go down next season and the other two bottom teams, Blinders and Crown Jewels, on 14 points, face each other at the Ritz Club next week.

In Division 2, Applecatchers just scraped through by two pins against Pawlett Legion to stay top, while Burnham United made sure of the points, taking the match from Red Devils at the Red Cow.

In their final league game Applecatchers will play on their home alley, the Orchard Inn, against Burnham United.
