ROB White and Ben Whittet both scored four as New Foresters thumped Rhode Lane Wanderers 13-2 in the Dave Hobbs Cup on Sunday morning.

Matt Loveday also bagged a hat-trick for Foresters and Ed Harrison scored two, while Joe Fitzsimmons netted two consolation goals for Rhode.

Elsewhere in the competition, Jack Edwards’ hat-trick fired Spaxton Rangers to a 3-2 victory over Cobblestones – and Pawlett rebels were given a walkover at Red Tile Reserves, who were unable to raise a side.

In the Bill Brown Cup, Highburn Athletic were 5-0 winners at Cornhill – and back in league action, Red Tile thrashed Middlezoy Amicus 5-1 in Division One.

In Division two, goals from Glyn Hawkes and Chris Rex weren’t enough to prevent Knowle Dynamos from slipping to a 4-2 defeat to Ramblers – while in Division Three, Ossian Gould’s hat-trick fired Spenny’s Sports Bar to a 6-2 win at Bridgwater Wolves.

Andrew Evans, Sam Edmunds, Dan McCabe were also on the score sheet.

Sam Carter, Nathan Harper and Brynn Pearce were all on target for Red Road Rangers in their 4-2 victory over Huntspill BPH – and league leaders Huntspill Crowns were 3-0 winners at home to Woolavington.
