WEDMORE Reserves progressed into the semi-finals of the Keyes Cup with a 3-2 win at Axbridge Town Reserves, where they could face South Park Rangers Reserves, who also booked their place in the final four with a 2-0 win at Uphill Castle A.
Wedmore first XI weren’t able to match the reserves’ effort, losing 3-2 to Wrington Redhill Reserves in the Challenge Cup quarter final.
In Division One, it was a miserable afternoon for Berrow Reserves, who were crushed 10-3 by high-flying Weston Super Seagulls – and things don’t get any easier for them, as they travel to fourth-place Winscombe Reserves on Saturday.
Burnham United A host Axbridge Town in the quarter-final of the Charity Cup, while Berrow Reserves travel to Winscombe Reserves in Division One.
In Division Three, Wedmore travel to Winscombe A, while their reserves take on Axbridge Town in Division Five.
