BURNHAM 2nd XI had to settle for a rain affected draw with North Petherton 2nd XI on Saturday.

In reply, Pethy were in early trouble as Andy Birkett (2-25), Grant (2-26) and O. Rogers (2-39) blew away the top order.
B. Williams (40no) stood firm in the middle-order, but only A. Burns (12) and R. Williams (12) joined him in double figures.
Andy Smith (1-7) finished with impressive figures from his seven over spell.
North Petherton finished up 89-7 and took 23 points from the match, while Burnham took 27 points and are now third in Division Seven.
They travel to Barrington on Saturday before hosting Chard A the following week.
