Monarchs' duo are the best in Britain

TWO members of the local Monarchs Sports Acrobatics Club have won British titles.

Sean McKenna and Jessica Titcombe, both pupils at King Alfred Sports College, Highbridge, became champions in the British Schools' Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships at Stoke.

The pair train at the Monarchs club in Highbridge. They were also part of the King Alfred group section who were way out in front until they made an error at the end, which cost them the title.

Monarchs' Tony Merrett has recently taken on the job of regional coach, working for British and English Gymnastics. He will be available to work with schools and gymnastic clubs in the South-West.
