Cheddar's evening with Ian Holloway starting to take shape

The former Bristol Rovers legend, who enjoyed success Blackpool, Queens Park Rangers, Crystal Palace and Leicester City, is sure to bring many smiles to the audience on the evening. 

The special evening will be in support of the services charity ‘Combat Stress’ and their regional manager Darren Jackson will be providing a captivating presentation on the evening.

“It’s great that I’ll be coming along to Kings Theatre in Cheddar especially in support of Combat Stress, it’s so important that our veterans are looked after given their heroic efforts, with mental health a topic that’s rightly, and slowly getting the conversation and attention it so desperately needs,” Holloway said.

“Given how common issues such as post-traumatic stress disorders, anxiety and depression are with these veterans, it’s crucial that Combat Stress are now giving them the help they deserve.”

Holloway is to be supported by the excellent singer/songwriter Wade Merritt on the evening. 

“I want to do all I can to ensure that it’s a night with a difference for the good people of Cheddar and can’t wait to put on the show for you all,” organiser Alan Cooper added.

“I am particularly grateful to sponsors Wookey Ale, who have helped me enormously to stage the event. We also have some unusually top prizes on the evening so I am hopeful that Cheddar’s Big Night Out will be a special occasion for everyone.” 

Tickets are still available online at thelittleboxoffice.com/cheddararts at just £20 but a few tickets will still be available on the evening at the door.

A bar will be available, selling beers, wines and soft drinks and will open at 6pm. Bar purchases can be made by card or cash, although cash is preferred.  

There will also be a fundraising draw on the evening with some splendid prizes available.
