BERROW were slow to get going in their first game since mid-December and Frome were quick to take advantage.

The home side were extremely strong and pressurised Berrow’s defence from the kick-off.

Chloe, Beth, Jess and Megan stood strong and went in for every tackle they could. Shannon played superbly in goal and was positive at all times.

Unfortunately, Berrow were 3-0 down at the end of the first half.

Paige came on positively, assisting Colette, Paris, Melissa and Beth in midfield.

The team improved in strength and passed the ball around with confidence. An amazing pinpoint left field cross from Ronnie led to Mollie scoring a belter of a goal.

Frome’s striker was awesome at times and the pressure began to tell as the home side scored three more goals.

The Berrow girls put in a good effort despite the score line and didn’t deserve to lose by so much.

Megan and Paige were named as players of the match.
