TITANS Amateur Boxing Club in Burnham has been awarded some much-needed funding from Somerset County Council’s community fund.

A cheque for £250 was presented to ABC coach and secretary Lisa Stacey by county councillor John Woodman.

The funds will be used to purchase a new gym timer and some additional speed ropes.

Anyone wishing to join the club or to find out more about amateur boxing can contact Lisa Stacey on 07866-700443. Training sessions are held at the BAY Club, Cassis Close, Burnham.
