BURNHAM United will be hoping for better fortunes when they come up against Brislington Reserves at Cassis Close on Saturday (August 18).

United were thumped 4-1 at home to Wrington Redhill last weekend on the opening day of the Somerset County League Division One season.

It was a somewhat different story for their opponents this weekend, who were on the right end of a 5-0 hammering to kick-off the campaign.

But Burnham will be hoping to register their first points of the season against the Bristol-based side before heading to Keynsham Town Reserves next Tuesday for their first away game.
