Cousins lead the way at Shiplate Farm fishing match

COUSINS Rich Hawkins and Kirk Pinkett took top prizes at the weekend in separate matches and Kirk's father, Julian Pinkett, managed best weight on the Main Lake and nephew John Hawkins managed a respectable sixth place at the start of the Shiplate Winter Series.
After the first frost of Autumn it was never going to be an easy match with maggot being the favoured bait by many.
The match was held on the Main Lake and Hawthorns.Everyone in the Winter Series weighed in and the results have started the points table towards the final in March.
