JIM Vearncombe whipped his Isle of Wedmore team back to winning ways as they beat newly-promoted Frome in the Avalon League.
Bill Lander/Graham Sugg won 5/4, while Vearncombe/ Paul Plume, behind all the way, were last-hole winners.
Unbeaten Brian Warner/Dominic Smith won 3/2 and rookie Laurie Olive, aged 14, partnered Tim Harris to a 3/2 victory.

Only losers were Edward Robinson/ Russell Shaw 4/3. Wedmore were 4-1 winners.
