Burnham II 37, Taunton III 15
BURNHAM II scored five tries as they romped to a 37-15 victory over local rivals Taunton on Saturday.
Matt Love grabbed a brace, while there also scores for Mason (2) and Will Conway.
The official got the game under way and Burnham lost no time in laying out their stall, as Jake Allen fed Mason who finished the job.
A turn over by Phil Colling then saw Osgood drive deep into the home forwards and quick ball released Love, who bounded out of the danger area to score under the uprights.
Mason crossed for his second of the day after Allen had dispossessed the full back, before Taunton hit back with two tries of their own.
Conway exploited a gap in the Taunton defence to extend the Burnham lead and Matt Love rounded off proceedings with his second of the afternoon, to seal an impressive victory.
Burnham host second-placed Tor next Saturday (March 29).
