BURNHAM-ON-SEA play the first of their two remaining Western Counties West fixtures when they travel to East Devon to take on mid-table Sidmouth on Saturday.
The visitors are the only side in the division with two games left to play - the rest wrap up their campaign this weekend - and will be looking to build on their thumping 75-0 victory over Torquay Athletic a fortnight ago.
Burnham go into the weekend level on points with third-bottom Crediton, who are likely to pick up a final day victory as they host already-relegated
Wellington, and will be looking for the points on Saturday to take the pressure off their last match against Truro on April 29.
Burnham defeated Sidmouth 22-9 in September’s reverse fixture, so will be looking to complete a league double that would go a long way towards securing survival.
Burnham’s 2nds have had a successful Easter weekend, thumping Martock 101-12 on Saturday before following that up by defeating Somerton 56-22 two days later.
