BURNHAM-ON-SEA RFC captain Ross McKechan is hoping his side can finish a tough season on a high, starting with Saturday’s trip to Torquay Athletic.
Burnham’s relegation was sealed in mid-March but they have three games to go in which to try and improve on a record of just three wins so far this season.
Speaking ahead of the trip to South Devon, McKechan said: “All the games we have left are winnable and we have to go out with that mindset.
“It would be nice to beat Torquay as we beat them earlier in the season, so it’s a good chance for us to do a double.”
Burnham 2nds return to Somerset 2 South action this weekend with a home game against Wells.
