BERROW Reserves suffered a miserable start to their Weston & District League campaign with a 6-0 reverse at home to Winscombe Reserves in Division One.
In Division Two, Burnham United ‘A’ also got off to a losing start, as they went down 4-2 at home to Nailsea United ‘B’.
Wedmore came out on the right end of a ten-goal thriller, beating Portishead Town ‘B’ 6-4 in Division Three, while Shipham were pipped 4-3 by Nailsea United Colts. In Division Five, Wedmore Reserves were thrashed 4-1 at home to Shipham Athletic, while Selkirk United lost 3-1 to South Park Rangers Reserves.
