HIGHBRIDGE Town manager Matt Pitt has called on his side to start turning draws into wins after sharing the points in three of their first six games in the Somerset County League.

Town sit in eleventh place in Division Two West with six points from six games - and Pitt believes player absence through injuries, illness and other commitments have not helped his side.

He said: “We started off the season well with the win against Winscombe, but since then I don't think we've been able to put out our full strength side, which has been frustrating.

“But now we've got our players back - and this week will be the first time since the opening day that we have been able to field our best side - we can hopefully start to put some results together.

“It's an anyone can beat anyone sort of league and I'm still confident we can challenge at the top end - but to do that we must start turning our draws into wins, because that's what's hurting us at the moment.”
