IT WAS a dismal weekend for Burnham United A as they crashed to an 11-0 thrashing at unbeaten Worle Rangers in Division Two – United have now conceded 22 goals in five games this season and host AFC Nailsea this weekend.
In Division Three, second-place Wedmore were 4-2 winners over Portishead Town B – and pointless Shipham suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to KVFC.
Shipham host Portishead Town B this weekend, while Wedmore are without a game.
Division Five’s basement side Selkirk United were beaten 3-1 by fellow strugglers Congresbury – and Wedmore Reserves secured only their second win of the campaign with a 1-0 triumph at Shipham Athletic.
