IT WAS an afternoon to forget for Wedmore Reserves as they crashed to an 8-0 home defeat to Clevedon United B in Division Five of the Weston & District League on Saturday.
They travel to struggling Westend Reserves this weekend.
Wedmore’s first team didn’t fare too much better, slipping to a 4-3 defeat at Shipham in Division Three.
The result sees Wedmore slide down into fourth spot in Division Three – and they host fellow promotion hopefuls Wrington Redhill Reserves on Saturday.
In Division One, Berrow Reserves suffered a heavy 6-0 defeat at home to Tickenham United – their eighth of the season.
Things don’t get any easier for Berrow, as they host third-place Cleeve West Town Reserves on Saturday.
