BERROW are now bottom of the Somerset County Premier Division after a 4-0 defeat at second-placed Nailsea & Tickenham.

Goals from Gary Freeman, Jake Murray, Matthew Pilgrim and James Seeley consigned the visitors to defeat, and Yatton Athletic – without a game – have leapfrogged them on goal difference.

Berrow do have four games in hand on Yatton, and two on 15th-placed Clevedon United (who are two points ahead of the bottom two).

Any upward movement, however, depends on whether Berrow can avoid defeat in a match for the first time in 2017.
