BURNHAM United travel to Worle tomorrow (ko 3pm), as they return to Somerset County League Division 1 West action after last weekend’s cup win.

United are seeking a fifth straight victory, having won their last four and scored 15 goals in the process.

A 1-0 success at home to Worle kicked off that run, so they will be looking for a second win in four months over those opponents, who are currently fourth in the table – just one point ahead of United in sixth.

In the same division, Berrow & Highbridge host Combe St Nicholas as they look to put five consecutive defeats behind them.

That slide has seen them fall from the top of the table to their current position of eighth, but south Somerset side Combe have struggled all season, picking up one point from eight league matches, so it is the perfect opportunity for the hosts to get their season back on track.

Burnham United Reserves are also at home tomorrow, as they entertain Hutton in Division 2.

United are sixth after a 0-0 draw with Winscombe Reserves last time out, whereas Hutton are currently top of the pile.

In the Weston-super-Mare & District League, meanwhile, Division 1 side Wedmore travel to Portishead Town A, for a match that sees the bottom side host the third-bottom team.

Burnham United A entertain FC Milton in Division 4, as they look to keep pace with the league’s frontrunners.

And in Division 5, third-placed Burnham United B are away to Banwell B, who are second, while bottom side Wedmore Reserves don’t return to action until October 28, away to Yatton & Cleeve United B.
