THE latest challenge to Burnham United’s Somerset County Division 1 West promotion bid comes from Nailsea & Tickenham Reserves, who host third-placed United tomorrow (ko 2pm).

Nailsea are seventh, but just two points behind, having won five of their last six games.

Berrow & Highbridge are also in action, at home to Ashton & Backwell United Reserves (ko 2pm), a match which sees 11th entertain 13th.

In Division 2, 10th-placed Burnham United Reserves host Banwell, who are fourth (ko 2pm).

As for the Weston-super-Mare & District League, Wedmore – sixth in Division 1 – face a tough test away to table-toppers Portishead Caledonian Thistle on Saturday (ko 2pm).

Burnham United A, who are second in Division 4, return to action after a week off as they host bottom side Axbridge Town Reserves (ko 2pm).

And in Division 5, Burnham United B go to Banwell B, while Wedmore Reserves entertain Nailsea United C (both ko 2pm).
