BERROW & Highbridge’s dreadful run of form in Division 1 West of the Somerset County League continued last weekend, as they were hammered 22-0 at Worle.

Four players bagged hat-tricks for the rampant hosts, with Ryan Down and Ryan Hodrien leading the way with five goals apiece, as the visitors were torn apart.

The defeat followed up a 16-0 reverse at Glastonbury last time out, and B&H’s goal difference now stands at -74 after a particularly damaging couple of weeks.

It gets no easier for the beleaguered side tomorrow, with second-placed Yatton & Cleeve United visiting on Saturday.

Elsewhere in the division, Burnham United travel to Street Reserves for their last game until March in the current league schedule.

In Division 2, Burnham United Reserves host Yatton & Cleeve United Reserves.

Burnham’s A and B teams are without matches in the Weston & District League, in which Wedmore – who beat KVFC 2-1 on Saturday – host Sporting Weston in Division 1 this Saturday.
