MARTYN Boley hit an unbeaten 87 as Wedmore trounced South Petherton by193 runs in Division Three of the Somerset Cricket League.

The home scored 239-5, also thanks to a 73 from Andy Cook before bowling the visitors out for just 46. Boley took one wicket for 12 runs from his four overs.

Simon Cattermole scored a brilliant 154 as Mark beat Weston by 24 runs in Division Four.

Cattermole's runs contributed to a 244-8 total for the home side, before the opener took four wickets for 43 runs to help bowl their opponents out for 220.

Gareth Lloyd (32) and Lewis De Gelas (16) were the only other Mark batsmen to reach double figures.

In Division Six, East Huntspill lost by five wickets at Banwell & Churchill.

Ian Cooke top scored as the visitors registered 164 batting first, but Banwell knocked off the target with five wickets in hand.

Wedmore 2nds lost by nine wickets at Wembdon Academy.

Andrew Patch and Tom Fozzard both fell one run short of their half centuries as the visitors scored 155-9.

Wedmore A were on the wrong end of a drubbing at home to Bridgwater Sports in Division 9NW.

They were set a target of 238 to win but were bowled out for just 61.

In the same division, Shaun Lismore scored an unbeaten 78 as Huntspill & District 2nds beat Trull by five wickets.

Trull scored 236-6 but Lismore's innings helped the home side chase down their total with ease.

It was a similar story for East Huntspill 2nds against Banwell & Churchill 2nds. Banwell scored 175-8 but a 73no from Kevin Watts ensured victory for Huntspill by seven wickets.

Mark 2nds' match at Weston was cancelled.
