EAST Huntspill edged a low-scoring affair with Ilminster on Saturday, thanks to a remarkable spell of 4-5 from P. Bagg.
Bagg’s seven-over spell turned out to be a match-winning one as East Huntspill defended their below-par total of just 100, bowling Ilminster out for 86.
Only M. Crook (19) and. M Edwards (19) made any significant contributions to Huntspill’s innings as they crashed to 100 all out.
But Bagg’s incredible spell, which was well backed-up by R. Pomeroy (2-38) and M. Crook (2-10), turned the game for East Huntspill as they crept home by a small margin.
