IT was a good weekend for Burnham’s young triathletes at the Minehead Triathlon, with five podium finishes from the club.
Burnham-on-Sea Triathlon Academy’s Oscar Roger and Kirsty Jenkins took the TriStar Three (age 13-14) titles in times of 17:47 and 19:14 respectively – while Shannon Hooper won the TriStar Two title in 15:07.
Olivia Earthy won the TriStar One (age 9-10) category in 11:11 – and in the TriStar Start race, Alex Scott (06:16) and Talia Hughes (06:32) were the winners.
Team prize winners included local team St Michael’s Athletic, KLD from Burnham-on-Sea and Wells Angels from Hoscombe.
