IAN Adams completed a double winning weekend as he took the final Monthly Medal of 2014.

The Weston-super-Mare based window cleaner cleaned up the opposition with a nett 66 to take the top spot in Division Two, one stroke ahead of Pete Dunn.

Russell Shaw just about held on to win Division One with his nett 67 ahead of Dan Broom on 68. Bob Masterman matched par with his nett 70 to win the third flight again by one shot from early starter Trevor Searle.

Just 24 hours earlier he won the Winter League round with 41 points.

He took advantage of the almost perfect conditions after a frosty start to win by one from Kevin Davies.

Due to that frost some temporary greens were in use on the front nine holes but not many players reached the 40 point mark.

The only other player to do so was Murray Parsons who lost out to Davies on countback for the runners up spot.

Brean’s PGA Professional Andrew March moved himself back up into third spot in the Gloucester and Somerset PGA Total Triumph Order of Merit with a tied 8th finish at a blustery Worlebury GC last week.

With just over a third of the winter season now gone the G&S PGA take a short break over the Christmas period from their Medal events and start again in early January.
