LIGHTBULBS have kept their place at the top of the Burnham, Highbridge & District Ladies’ Skittles League’s Premier Division after beating rivals Nitwits.

In Division 1, Cannonballs kept up the relentless pressure as they stormed to victory over bottom placed Triards.

Wayward Wanderers, doing extremely well on their new alley, Laburnum House, are just one point behind the leaders after a narrow victory of nine over Victoria Vixens kept them on target.

An all home game at the Crossways Inn saw Wotsits fall to Nightmares, while Young Ones made sure of the points on the Railway Inn alley as they beat Berrow Club B by 22.

The lead in Division 2 changed this week as Applecatchers went solo at the top, beating Wanderers at Highbridge Social Club by six.

Burnham United also fell on their home alley, the Ritz Club, and go into joint second place as Coasters beat them by four.
