DAVE Jackson’s ‘Super Saphire’ took first place in the final standings at the Burnham Regatta on Saturday, following two weekends of competition.
He was followed in second place by Andy and Sue Walker in Merlin and Rodney Southwell in Merlin, in third, joint with Geoff Tanner in Melody.
Dave Jackson’s Super Saphire also took first place in the handicap category and finished third in the pursuit race.
Andy and Sue Walker took second in the handicap, while Dave Williams in Tektar was third.
Geoff Tanner in Melody won the pursuit, followed by Rodney Southwell in Merlin.
The handicap races took place last Saturday and Sunday - and again this weekend, with associated social events and completed with the pursuit race on Sunday (June 15).
Last weekend saw a mix of conditions, with strong winds on Saturday and gentle breezes on Sunday.
