NO play was possible on the fourth day of Somerset's Specsavers County Championship match against Lancahire at Emirates Old Trafford.
Rain set in at ten o’clock and umpires, Peter Hartley and Mike Burns, took the expected decision to abandon play 20 minutes after an early lunch was taken at noon.
Both team take ten points from the game.
Next up for Chris Rogers’ team is a game against Warwickshire at Taunton starting on Tuesday.
