BARRY Phillips, a co-author of five books on Somerset cricketers, has just published a sixth entitled Somerset Cricketers Revisited - New Discoveries.
It includes a wealth of new material with refreshed and expanded biographies.
There are more than 100 images in the book, some very rare.
Pride of place goes to the photograph that appears on the front cover of the book.
It had lain hidden in a family album since it was taken in 1881, and is the earliest Somerset team photograph by some years.
The book is a must for anyone who bought any of the previous five books.

The previous five books contain illustrated biographies of the players who have represented Somerset County Cricket Club since 1876.
