JASON Doyle and Nick Morris finished third and fifth in the Premier League Riders’ Championship at Sheffield.
Doyle scored 13 points from his five qualifying rides to take himself directly through to the Grand Final.
Morris scored nine from his five rides, which included two race wins, to take him into the semi-finals.
However, neither could quite match the form of Rye House’s Oliver Allen, who won the title.
Rebels promoter Debbie Hancock said: “I know both lads were disappointed with their final positions, but when they wake up tomorrow morning, hopefully, they will have had time to reflect on things and take stock of their achievements.”
